Words of Praise

Michelle Munger has crafted an inspirational and practical book that merges her experiences as a parent of two children diagnosed with ASD with her work as a ministry leader in a congregation to provide a truly unique and thoughtful roadmap in forming faith communities where people of all abilities can worship as one. Parents and ministry leaders will benefit from Michelle’s wisdom as they share a common language in discovering the road forward.

BARBARA J. NEWMAN, author and speaker, All Belong (formerly CLC Network)

Michelle Munger has used her extensive experience as a parent of two sons on the autism spectrum along with being a military spouse frequently on the move, and frequently having to look for new churches for their family, to write a book that other parents and families with children with disabilities might find very appealing, especially if they have been yearning for a faith community home, or who have struggled with congregational barriers to inclusion  She is practical, down to earth, clear in her own faith, honest about struggles, and optimistic about what is possible and what can be done.  Her experience and optimism have now led to this book, as well as to ongoing work with families and congregations to build welcoming and inclusive faith communities.
